Merry Christmas Eve!
I cannot believe that Christmas Eve has snuck up on us already. It feels like it should be December 4th, not 24th and I should still be anticipating the end of the world. (Suck it Mayans! You were wrong!)
Today I wish nothing but happiness, joy and peaceful evenings for all of you.
For those of you unlucky enough to be braving the malls to do some last minute Christmas shopping I ask that you remember only one thing : elbows.
Elbows are a wonderful invention. Employed properly they can get you to that coveted gift faster and to the head of any long line. Throw them out to the sides to plow your way through large crowds, or swing them back and forth as if you are running to plunge them deep into the gut if anyone who tries to cut in front of YOU in line. No cuttsies! (Unless we’re the ones doing the cutting!)
And above all remember the spirit of the season…
…Oopps! That was supposed to be the SpiritS of the season! Lord knows we won’t get through the holidays with the in laws without them!!
I hope your holidays are bright and merry. I hope you spend them with those who love you. I hope you give and receive, but remember that receiving is a privilege, not a right. And I hope the new year brings nothing but blessings for us all…
Now go, get your turkey-coma on!

I like the turkey-coma concept. I hope that your family has a fab Christmas, too!
We absolutely did, Ricki. Thank you!
